As Dr Lloyd Dedicates His Administration’s Achievements To God
The Archbishop of Niger Delta province of the church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Revd.(Dr) Blessing Enyindah has declared peace and prosperity in Emohua local government area.
Dr Blessing Enyindah who is also the Bishop of Ikwerre Diocese of the Anglican Communion said the laudable achievements of Dr Chidi Lloyd within few months in office is an attestation of the Glory of God in the local government area, attributing the return of peace in the area to the divine intervention of God.
Archbishop Enyindah made the declaration during his courtesy visit to Dr Chidi Lloyd at the headquarters of Emohua local government area on Tuesday.
He commended the chairman of Emohua local government council for his effective leadership and sterling performance within his few months in office, acknowledging that the narrative about the local government area has gradually changed from what it was before the emergence of Dr Chidi Lloyd.
Speaking further, the Archbishop thanked Dr Lloyd for his support to the Ecclesiastical province of Niger Delta during their recent program and urged the council chairman to always entrust his administration’s programs and activities to God, promising to always remember the council chairman in his prayers.
He congratulated Dr Lloyd on his electoral victory and subsequent swearing-in as the chairman of Emohua local government area, noting that the council chairman has so far started on a very good ground and prayed God to continue to protect and provide for him to continue his good works in the local government area, whilst urging him to continue in the same spirit he has started with.
The Ikwerre born Archbishop whose visit to the chairman of Emohua LGA coincided with his 59th birthday anniversary was later taken on an unscheduled visit to some of the projects initiated by the administration of Dr Chidi within the council secretariat, where he expressed shock over the number of infrastructural projects being executed simultaneously with the council secretariat.
In his brief remark, Dr Chidi Lloyd dedicated his achievements to the grace and mercy of God and urged religious leaders to always remember his administration in their prayers, promising to always support the work of God in appreciation for God’s faithfulness upon his life and that of his administration.
Dr Lloyd said his administration was able to change the narrative in the local government area within a very short time because of the determination and commitment to reposition the area for rapid development.
The council chairman who described the visit of the Archbishop as a rare privilege, said the visit signals the beginning of many more good news to come from Emohua local government area to the glory of God.
Highlight of the visit was a surprise birthday celebration in honour of Most Revd. Blessing Enyindah, organised by Emohua local government chairman, which was followed by a special prayer section for the council chairman and his administration, and the presentation of a Holy Bible to the council chairman by the Archbishop.
